Fight Club

Everybody starts somewhere. Come with us on a journey of progression as you work to find your fierce. This is high-intensity interval training using boxing techniques and focus pads. Please note: Gloves supplied for first time class attendance only. Regulars are to bring their own gloves or gloves can be rented for a $2 donation. Wraps are highly recommended.

FAQ

What are Fight/Boxing classes?

Anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, can benefit tremendously from incorporating some fight, boxing and/or martial arts into their training program. Whether you want to try something new, if you want to improve overall health & fitness, lose weight, or even just enhance your mood, Fight & Boxing classes are right up your alley. You’ll learn techniques like striking (kicks, knees & punches) and grappling (holds, sweeps & throws). You’ll also help with improving balance & coordination, assist with dynamic flexibility of joints, muscles & ligaments, and work on power, strength & speed. A lot of these things help even with day-to-day activities like walking or jumping.

What should I expect in a Fight class?

When you arrive at your Fight/Boxing class, our instructors will be waiting to greet you. Their introduction will be focused on explaining the class format, what equipment you’ll be using (if any), and will ask if you are working with any injuries or restrictions. Class formats can be tailored to wherever you’re at in your fitness journey, no one is too new or too advanced. You’ll meet an array of instructors, all bringing a unique style to their Fight/Boxing classes. We do ask that you please arrive five minutes early to your class so your instructor can start on time.

What do I bring to my Fight class?

We provide the boxing bags, focus pads, the instructors and a one-of-a-kind studio. All that we ask is that you please bring a towel, water bottle (preferably not plastic as we’re not big on that) and your own wraps/gloves. We do have some available to borrow for a $2 donation, but we do highly encourage that you bring your own. We heavily enforce the towel policy (no towel, no play, no gym today).

What other facilities are available?

Along with our Battleground studio fitted out with green turf and boxing bags, you’ll have full access to our gym facilities. These include our boutique bathrooms that are fitted out with showers, lockers, hair dryers, hair straighteners & botanical soaps.

Can I bring someone?

Of course! When we reach out to book you in, don’t be afraid to tell us who you’d like to bring along to your first Fight/Boxing class.
