CARNIVALE

An intoxicating dance class that incorporates Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Soca… This is your chance to move your body to the sultry sounds of the samba while burning calories.

STEP UP

Our new dance workout with high-energy routines, choreographed to your favourite hits. Work up a sweat and lose yourself in the rhythm. This is 45 minutes of releasing your inner Beyonce.

URBAN DANCE

Interval training with an urban twist. Learn New Skool movements, step by step. Motivating dance tracks, fast and slow rhythms, with different choreography each week.

HIP HOP

This is all about loud music, street dance-style moves and a bunch of friendly people. Get out of your head and into your body – it doesn’t matter how you look, the good dancing comes later.

Australia, and sharing her love for all things dance and fitness.
Shannon loves to encourage anyone and everyone to do their absolute best and have a great time in the classes.

ANTON

Constantly marvelling at the power and healing, movement brings to being human, Anton’s integrated approach to dance classes centre around finding the joy, strength and freedom of moving with clarity and presence.

ESTEF

Estef believes that with proper technique and practice, ANYONE can learn how to dance and enjoy themselves through movement. Estef is going to guide you through a variety of steps and rhythms, always with a touch of Latin sass.

Are One Playground dance classes for me?

As well as offering the staple gym class offerings in categories like strength, HIIT, cardio, boxing and loads more, we offer classes that are all about connecting mind, body and spirit while you work on your fitness. Imagine a playground where you can try something new every day. Our dance classes are open to anyone, no matter your ability. You’ll love them if you love experimenting, meeting new people, trying the latest trend, or wanting to exercise in unconventional but interesting ways.

What should I expect in these classes?

When you arrive, your instructor will be waiting to greet you. Their introduction will be focused on explaining the kind of class you’re in, the class format, what equipment you’ll be using (if any), and they’ll ask if you have any injuries or restrictions to work around. Our dance classes are suitable for any one at any level – no one is too new or too advanced. You’ll meet an array of instructors, all bringing their own unique flavours to their classes. Please arrive five minutes early to your class so your instructor can start on time.

What other facilities are available?

Along with our dance and other studios, you’ll have full access to our gym facilities. These include our boutique bathrooms that are fitted out with showers, lockers, hair dryers, hair straighteners and botanical soaps.

Of course! When we reach out to book you in, feel free to let us know who you’d like to bring along to your Dance class.
